Join @blunhamyfc on Friday the 6th May who will be Join @blunhamyfc on Friday the 6th May who will be hosting a junior disco for everyone 16 and under! This will be a fantastic opportunity for the county’s younger members to make new friends and have lots of fun!
Bedfordshire Young Farmers are proud to announce t Bedfordshire Young Farmers are proud to announce that during the 2020-2021 membership year in the height of the pandemic , we were the highest placing county in national competitions which means we won this wonderful trophy - ‘The NFU trophy’! This was only possible due to the efforts of club chairman’s encouraging their members to continue on in true Young farmers competitive spirit and entering competitions most of which were held via zoom! Everyone performed exceptionally well and gave the judges some tough decisions to make! 👏 Competitions for Senior after dinner speaking, Intermediate brainstrust and Junior speaking & reading all took place on the same evening. Congratulations to those who took home trophies for best speakers. Last Wednesday evening the county held their Annua Last Wednesday evening the county held their Annual General Meeting at Shuttleworth College! Tim Atkins retired from his role as County Chairman and Alice Redman was elected for the forthcoming year with Bobby Wallace elected in as the County Vice Chairman. Aside from the elections the evening also consisted of a lot of thank yous, a wide range of awards from efficiency cups, bale sculpture competition results, national finalist awards and finished with a fantastic spread of cheese and wine! #nfyfc #yfc #bedsyfc #yfcdoitbest

The Young Farmers organisation is for young people between the ages of 10-26 with an interest in the countryside. Though you definitely do not have to be a farmer to be a member of one of our clubs. Bedfordshire YFC is one of many counties through out the UK that has clubs, currently we have over 400 members in 7 clubs.
